API has earned the trust and confidence of the government of the Republic of Benin by cooperating with different levels of the governmental institution such as the Ministry of Agriculture and the Ministry of Finances, for the supply of farming inputs throughout cotton season.
API was handpicked among many others to supply the Beninese government with said farm inputs during the 2012-2013, and the 2013-2014 cotton seasons.
2013-2014 COTTON SEASON
In the context of 2013-2014 cotton season, API Group has carried out the delivery of a first cargo of fertilizers on Saturday June 15th at the port of Cotonou.
API specializes in the supply of farming inputs, and for the second year running, has supplied the kind involved in cotton production. To that end, President Dr Boni YAYI was on site to ensure that the unloading of the fertilizers was carried out in the best conditions, and congratulate the different actors for their commitment to the success of cotton season. The President gladly noted that API Group has honored its commitments.
On this first delivery, 47.000 Tons of Urea and 12.000 of Npk fertilizers were unloaded off the ORIENTALII and THE PATRIA. The product will then be bagged and dispatched to various distribution points to be available to cotton producers. Another ship is soon expected with a new cargo of fertilizers in the context of the 2013-2014 cotton campaign.
